Final WOW post...

Hey everyone! I am here to share with you my final post on the WOW blog! The time has come for me to explore some other fun opportunities that have ome my way! Yo've seen me announce them... and i'm sure some f you thought "How is she going to do it all???". Well, I'm not superwoman, so something has got to give! LOL!
Today I have a fun and colorful card to share with you.
In creating this card, I used the following WOW colors...
WOW Bright White
WOW Suzy West Cotton Candy
WOW Suzy West Sour Lemon

I just love that these colors show up so bright and clear on black cardstock! I used my Spellbinders® Impressabilities® (GI-002 Butterfly Garden Grand Impressabilities) btemplate on the black paper. I embossed it in my Spellbinders Grand Calibur machine first. Then, leaving the template in place, I applied my Versamark ink. After removing the template, I sprinkled one color at a time until all 3 colors were on before heating. I just love how bright and cheery it came out! I also diecut the butterfly using Spellbinders LF-006 Wonderful Wings, and added the powder in 3 colors here as well.
I hope that you will try combining your embossing powders to create a beautiful rainbow effect on your next embossing project! It is SO much fun! Wow!! :)
I also used theses Spellbinders products:
S4-345 Picot Edge Circles
S5-062 Lace Doily Accents

Other Supplies:
Want2Scrap Pearls
ClearSnap Ink
Worldwin Cardstock
Zva Flourish
Xyron Adhesive
Elmers Foam Tape

Befire I sign off, I want to say a big thank you to WOW embossing powders and Suzy West for this fabulous opportunity! I have had a blast playing with these powders... and will definately continue to do so!! :)

Thanks for stopping by!
Until Nest Time...

WOW Embossing Powder Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to my blog! I am so thrilled to be able to share my project with you today!
You should have visited the following blogs before mine... if not, please go and do that now so that you have every opportunity to win some WOW goodness!
Tina<---- That's Me! YOU Are Here!
WOW Facebook Page

For my project today, I created some quick and easy pillow boxes! These can be bought at Michaels or made on your own! They can be used as Wedding thank you favors, as gift card holders, or a million other things!!

In creating these boxes, I used the following WOW products...

To stamp these boxes, I inked the stamp with Versamark ink. Then I laid the stamp and block on the table and pressed the pillow box into it. It gave fabulous, even coverage. I had tried it the other way, but due to the thickness of the box, It was just not working well. This way was perfection! Sprinkle with powder and heat set! So simple!

I created the tags by stamping the sentiment from the GRATITUDE set onto cream cardstock using the Versamark ink, and sprinkled with the copper powder. After heating, I diecut and embossed them using Spellbinders™  label die templates. While they were still in the template, I lightly inked them. Add a few pearls and the labels were ready to tie on!

I hope that you can see just how quick and simple these little boxes are! I want to make them ahead to have on hand for wedding gifts, baby showers, birthday gifts... any occasion that could call for a gift card!!
Thanks for stopping by today! Remember to leave a comment for your chance to win!! Then, drop by the WOW facebook page (linked above) and see if you are a winner tomorrow!!
Until Next Time...

Hello Beautiful: Spellbinders die's and Wow Embossing powders!

Hey all! What a gorgeous day! I'm sitting outside with my laptop watching the babe play... so happy that nicer weather is coming!Just stopping by to share a new project with you today!
This is a layout that I created for the WOW Embossing Powder blog. Check out here for the blog post!
Hello Beautiful

In creating this project, I used some fun embossing techniques!
1. First, I tore several of the patterned papers. Once torn, I then dipped then into ClearSnap Watermark ink, then into WOW COPPER Regular embossing powder and heat set. On the musical paper, I first dipped it into the WOW Ebony powder, heat set, then into the copper. Love the layered look it gave!
2. I created some Spellbinders Spiral Blossoms Three flowers for this page. I did the same with these… dipped them into the Watermark ink and then into the copper powder and heat set. Love that I can add any color to my flowers using this technique! Try it with premade flowers as well!

3. I also cut and embossed Spellbinders Splendid Circles and added some Copper powder to that as well!
4. Check out that large flourish! It was made by Magistical Memories. I dabbed it with the watermark ink and sprinkled it with the Black Glitter embossing powder and heat set it. Then, I added areas of the copper to give it more of a metallic look.

When I was away in AZ last week for the Spellbinders retreat, we played with some super fun techniques. Let me share them with you… they are things you will HAVE to try!!
1. We played with some Art Engraving paper… OMW! I’m in LOVE ! This fabulous paper by Royal and Langnickel is a must have! I used it on my beautiful bird and birdcage, which is part of the Bird Sanctuary set. After cutting and embossing, we sanded it using a sanding block. This brought out the copper color inside! It was such a WOW moment! So I had to use these pieces on this page!
2. Then, there is the gorgeous Elegant Post that I used. To create this, we cut the die from a glossy black paper. This paper has a white core. Once embossed, we sanded it and then inked it. Again… WOW moment! It looks like wood! LOVE!! Thanks to Judy Hayes for sharing this technique! So THAT’S how she makes things look like that! She is an amazing artist (Not to mention, one of the sweetest people EVAH!!)… and if you haven’t checked out her work… do it now! You won’t be sorry!
So I hope that today’s post has been informative and inspiring! Try something new today… you never know… you just may find a new technique that you can’t create without!
Thanks for stopping by!
Until Next Time…
Happy Scrapping…

Wait a minute… know what? It’s not just scrapping anymore, is it!? I do a lot more than that!! So, I’m going to come up with a new sign off phrase… let’s try something different…
Happy Creating!
