Extra Special

Hey all! Summer is now officially here! School is out! WAHOO! No more lunches, catching the bus, schedules... I'd say no more early mornings but the baby may not go along with that one! :)

Today I have a project to share with you using some FABULOUS Crate Paper!! Yep, they have a Design Team Call going on right now, so it's a great time to be using their AWESOME products, don't ya think? :) Love their stuff... so unique and so versatile! :)

I also used some of the LETTERBOX STAMPS from MyStampBox on this one as well! This is my last project for MyStampBox... but of course I'll still be using their fabulous stamps!!

EXTRA SPECIAL
I did this page to remind my only daughter that being the only girl in our family makes her extra special! She wanted this last baby to be a girl SOO badly... but when she realized that it was not and that we are not having any more... she was a bit disappointed to say the least. Being the only girl amongst 4 boys gives her a very special place, and just makes her EXTRA SPECIAL!
Here is a closeup of the stamping... I used the LETTERBOX stamp set. I added some stickles to them to give it some extra PIZAZZ! They are also raised using Helmar's 1/2 inch round Zapdots. Had fun making this banner...
As you can tell in this shot, I used the Helmar Zapdots in more places than just the title! I loved raising my patterned paper as well as my photo using them! For my fussy cutting I used the Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots to give some dimension to the outside edges of my flowers. This works so awesomely! (not a word... but it works! :) )
So there you have it!! An Extra Special page for my Extra Special girl!! Thanks for stopping by!!
Until next time... Happy Scrapping!!
~Tina~

It's SUMMERTIME BABY!!

WHOOT! Well, it's not OFFICIALLY summer, but it SURE felt like it today! It was HOT out!! Summer is officially 2 days away... but bah humbug on that! I say it's summertime now! LOL!!!

Anywho... I'm not here to argue with the calender! But I DO have a page to share with you! I created it for the Helmar USA blog. This week were featured Kiki Arts! Their papers are so unique, bright and funky! Once I settled on a paper and a theme for my page, the rest came together so easy! The Momenta cardstock was great for this, and their alpha's?... to DIE for! I'll be ordering lots more of these!
CUTE AS A BUG

I LOVE using ribbon now... wasn't a big fan before, as i always had to stitch it down. No more!! The Helmar 450 quickdry is all I need! Seriously... the pleats in my ribbon on this page were made completely using the 450! And they hold! No wet marks on the ribbon, and no letting go! I'm SO pumped over this! 450 and ribbon were a match made in heaven! :)

I also had fun with the Jillibean Soup journaling sprouts! I cut the small ones apart and used them as a funky edge! Then another big one on the top for my journaling... I KNOW!! I can hardly believe it either... a page WITHOUT journaling strips!! Sheesh!! What will i do next!?!? LOL!Do you SEE those ladybugs? They are a stamp from Bella BLVD! I had so much fun with these! I stamped them using red ink onto cream cardstock. Then I used my Sharpee to color in the black parts. After cutting it out and adding them to my page using the 1/2 inch black round Zapdots by Helmar, I added a layer of sparkle using Stickles! They are SO much fun! They aren't so sparkly IRL... it's just the angle of the camera... but these little bugs are now my friend! :)

These pics are of my second to youngest son... I just love them... he's as cute as.... well... as cute as a bug! :)

Thanks for dropping by!
Until Next time... HAPPY SCRAPPING!

My Baby's first page

This is my first page I created for my sweet baby boy. He is now one month and 3 days old! WHERE has the time gone!!!???

In this photo he is 3 days old... I just love the squishy lips!! :)

SPECIAL GIFT
We named him Jesse... which means GIFT. So he is my special gift. Even though we did not plan him... we are so thankful and blessed to have him!
This week I have 2 old friends... both couples have recently adopted brand new babies. Both are having SERIOUS health complications. My heart is broken for them... as of yesterday one couple was told that it was pretty much over... only to find out today that things are improving! God answers prayer, and I know that these little ones are being prayed for by so many!
So when I hold my beautiful healthy baby this week, i am overcome with how blessed I am... God is good!

I created this page for Helmar USA. Their adhesive is second to none, and they have the perfect selection to suit your needs!!
On this page I used the QuickFix Adhesive runner for the majority of the paper and photo's. I used the 450 Quickdry for the scalloped strips on the top and bottom and my circles, and a 1/2 inch circle Zap Dot for the butterfly! No fancy techniques... nothing special to do... just use it and it works like a charm!

I also had fun creating lots of different edges on this page. I used 2 different border punches, a scalloped edged paper, a wave and some circle rings. I love the interest it gave the page! How many different edges can you use on your next page?

I guarantee this is not the last page you will see of this little guy! :) Hold your little ones a little but tighter and a little bit longer tonight... I know I did...
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Scrapping!

Momenta Reveal

Hello all!
I apologize for being so neglectful of my poor little blog. I have been creating though... so I have some goodies to share!!
I'd like to share my May creations for Momenta with you! May you ask? Yes, I received my box from them on June 1st... so I'm a bit behind! LOL! But none the less... I do have some goodies to share!!
Altered Candy Container
This first project is an altered Candy cone that DH got me chocolates in for Christmas! I kept the cardboard container because I knew I wanted to recreate it!! And I did! I used the Black Tie line from Momenta! Beautiful!
WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?
Another creation using the black tie line. Added a splash of green for color. I adore the chipboard embellishments in this line... those flowers are gorgeous and none too girly either! And those chipboard letters... SWOON!! I adopted the idea of the stitched circle and buttons from my scrappy crush Amanda Muirhead (Who just made the Prima DT I might add!! WHOOT!)
This is my middle son... who changes moods like the wind! Happy, sad, giddy mad... all in about 3 seconds! LOL! He's a complex little guy though... never quite know what's going on in that curly little head of his... :)
EXPLORE
This LO is probably my least favorite of my May creations. It's a bit different style for me in some ways... but i still like it! :) This was created using the WISH YOU WERE HERE Page kit from Momenta. I don't do a lot of traveling but thought that I could incorporate these embellies into a page about the journey of life.
I also used my favorite stamp set from My StampBOX on this page!! The Wishing you Sunshine clouds! LOVE THEM!!

Beautiful You
This is my favorite page from this series. It is of my beautiful sister. I adore the colors here... LOVE the Damask shapes and those puffy words are too cool! Love that I could bend them to go around my circle!!

And that is what i have to share with you today!! I am now anxious to put in my order for more new Momenta goodies! SO much more that I want!!! You can order your own goodies here...

So, until Next time... HAPPY SCRAPPING!!!
