Crop Accomplishments

I had the FAB opportunity to go the the Lets Capture Our Memories crop this weekend! WOW! It was AMAZING! The food was AWESOME! The goodies were incredible... handmade boxes by the owner Tanya... Too much shopping and TONS of laughs!! OMW... we had SO much fun!!These girls are so much fun!! But I really think we need to get out of the house more! LOL!!
Amongst all of the fun and laughs, i did manage to get 3 LO's done... wanna see?

This first LO was a quickie... done in 1/2 hr!! It is done using # 14 Natalie's sketch from Capture These Sketches! Great sketch!! I made a very simplified version... not wanting to overdo this fab paper!!
Supplies:
Bo Bunny PP
Pink Paislee alpha's
Zva bling
Martha Steward Punch

This LO is probably my fav for the weekend. I hand stitched the lace and ribbon to the LO for exact placement. My sewing machine would have done it... but I didn't bring it... wish I had though! LOL! I dug DEEP into my stash of paper to find this old Urban Lilly paper! Did yo know they are back and having a DT call? Very cool! So, I had to give it a try! Their papers are so fun and funky!! This is the only LO I could do using their stuff, as I didn't have much left!! Wish me luck!! :)
Supplies:
Urban Lilly PP
Bazill Swiss Dot Cardstock white
Bo Bunny PP (brown)
Prima SIIP and flower
Unknown lace and ribbon
Alpha's American Crafts and Pink Paislee
Fiskars punch
Maya Road Acrylic bird

This circle of circles was inspired by a page in Canadian Scrapbooker ( Not sure on the artist... sorry!) It was fun, but once again i REALLY wish I'd had my sewing machine there! Yes, I could have waited to finish until I got home... but I hate doing that! Gotta get it done!! :)
Don't you LOVE that Martha Steward punch set!?! The loopedy loop? It comes with a border punch AND corner punch! Brilliant!! Thanks Tracey for the use of it!! :)
Supplies:
WRMK PP
Bazill Swiss Dot CS White
Bazill Black CS
Buttons: FooFaLa
Alpha's: American Crafts and Pink Paislee
Martha Steward Punches
Prima Bling
Black Sharpee

Thanks so much for stopping by! I just love all of your kind comments! :) You rock!! :)

Now i need to clearify something from my last post... or rather add something. ANOTHER reason I have lightened my scrappy load is in hopes of getting another Manufacturer design team position. There are several AMAZING ones open right now, that I want so badly! So please don't take my previous post to mean that i don't want them or have time for them... cause... I DO! :) LOL!
So...Until the next time mojo finds me... Happy Scrapping!

Shame on me! Updates!!

i can't believe it's been so long since I've updated this thing! Oops! I had been doing so well too!! Oh well, life happens and gets in the way sometimes... right?
Nothing too much new or exciting...
i have resigned from a couple of my Design teams... Very sad to do so, but it was just time. In Sept I said good bye to Mon Ame Memories. And here in October i designed with my last Scrapbook Sussies kit. It's just time... I need to find myself again... Find my own style, use my own scrappy stash... you know how it goes, right? i loved these teams, and already miss them... but this is a good thing.
So I'm focusing in on the Capture These Sketches team... which is having a DT call on right now! 2 more days left to apply!!! :) That, and My Stamp Box. I really want to do well on these and don't want to spread myself too thin... With each of these i get to use stuff from my own stash.. which is huge!! i forgot how much beautiful stuff i had! Now I get to play with it more!

Speaking of My Stamp box... go check out their blog...today was my first day to post on there!! It's Wed, so i got to post a challenge!! Check it out here... I am LOVING working with these stamps!!

And I suppose i should leave you with a few scrappy projects...

Capture These Sketches Card Sketch #3
... designed by ME!! :)
You'll never guess what I did here... When i did the stitching... yes, you guessed it! i stitched my card SHUT!!! ROFL!!!!! Only me!! :) I used the Kind Flower stamps from My Stamp Box to stamp the THANK YOUs on the circle... and for the flower on the bottom. I stamped it twice and cut them out. Added stickles and a button and used a foam square to mount it!
