More new work!!

Continuing on...

4. On to other kids now! LOL! This one features the baby... DS who is 14 months old. I used anothe sketch from Capture These Sketches... this one by Tara Thynne. Well, I began with the sketch anyway... but the page took on a life of it's own! :)
supplies: PP: Fancy Pants, 3 bugs in a Rug, MME, Cardstock: Bazill Alpha: Websters Pages Stickles: Ranger Chipboard: Maya Road, Scenic Route, Heidi Swapp Stamps: MyStampBOX Embossing Powder Pears: Zva Glimmer Mist: Tattered Angles Pearl Button: Jenni Bowlin
This page is my recent favorite... i think it's the simplicity of it and those gorgeous pics!! This page features the WISHING YOU SUNSHINE stamps from My Stamp Box! The clouds... which I also used on the angel wings... embossed with white embossing powder... Perfect for the page! This was selected LCOM's Layout of the Day today! :) I'm so thrilled! :) Thank you girls! Again, you'll see i dug into the chipboard! It's becoming an addiction!! :) To say the least! :)

5. And last but not least is just a simple card I made... again using some My Stamp Box stamps for the sentiment. I dug out more chipboard for the circle and the butterfly! The Cuttlebug did some fun embossing for the top half of the card... i sanded it for a more defined look! :)
supplies: PP: Momento, CS, Bazill, Chipboards unknown, bling, Zva, paint unknown, Tattered Angels Glimmer mist, Cuttlebug embossing, unknown paper ribbon

New Work to share! (LONG POST!!)

My, but I've been busy scrapping my time away! :) At least I've been away for good reason, right? Dh was away overnight on Friday, so my MIL took the 2 oldest kids for a sleepover! Boy did I scrap!! 3 LO's and a card! YAY!! It was just hard to come back to reality when they all landed home! LOL!

Here are some of the projects I've been working on! :)

1. First project is my LO for the LCOM's SO YOU THINK YOU CAN SCRAP contest! Challenge was CLEAN AND SIMPLE... here's what i came up with... Definately simple! :)
This page is done on DD's 7th birthday party! 6 6-7 yr old girls at the movie theatre!! We had a blast! :)
supplies: Bazill Swiss dot CS, BG EVA papers, trim and alpha, unknown brads, Heidi Swapp Bling

2. This was done for Week 2 of the So you Think You Can Scrap contest... challenge was MONOCHROMATIC... I really love how this turned out!
supplies: PP and trims: Glitz Bling and pearls: Zva Alpha's: Pink Paislee, American Crafts Chipboards unknown and Scenic Route Cuttlebug die Martha Steward Butterfly punch Tsukeniko inks Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist Helmar adhesive

I love this photo of DD!! She is so beautiful, inside and out!! This page lists 7 things i love about her at age 7... I used some FUN chipboard here too! I love the added dimention it gives to a fully textured page like this! I also used the cuttlebug for the border on the left hand side... LOVE that die!!

3. This page was done for a sketch at the Let's Capture These Sketches blog!! The sketch was created by the talented Darlene D'Eon!
supplies: PP: Making Memories, My Little Yellow Bicycle, MME, Basic Grey Transparency Frame: My Little Yellow Bicycle Alpha's: Making Memories, Tim Holtz Rubons: Creative Expressions Bling: Zva, Chipboard: Maya Road Brads: American Crafts Cuttlebug diecut Adhesive: Helmar

Again... another one of DD! :) 4 kids, and I do 3 pages in a row about her! LOL! Can you tell I love doing girly pages? Anyway, this page is using some of our fun Christmas photo's... during our Post Christmas photo shoot! LOL! Again I dug into the chipboard and LOVE how it turned out! Used the cuttlebug die again for the trim here, and sprayed it with glimmer mist! What a beautiful copper tone it gave it! Also ran the bird thru the cuttlebug and embossed some texture into it... glimmer misted and then inked to bering out the design... The black swirls are from our LCTS Jan sponsor Creative Expressions!

I think that's all for one post... I gotta go put my kiddo's to bed! :) i have more to share soon... Oh drat, and add my product lists! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! And I love those comments!

Until later... Happy Scrapping!!

I have made a new pact with myself!! :) I have decided to use my stash! WHAT? Use what I have? I can harldy believe I am saying that!! I am the worlds WORST for always wanting the newest stuff and leaving my other stuff to get older and older!!! But I am determined to use a lot of stuff up during this So You Think You Can Scrap contest at LCOM!!! I dug in yesterday and got my clean and simple LO done! :) AND, I used some of my stash!! YAY!! So... you should see me using lots of older stuff in the coming weeks! That's NOT to say there won't be new things too... come on! A gal's STILL gotta shop! LOL!!!

DO IT!!

Oh my my my!!! What a busy month and a half it has been! I have not had much time to blog, scrap or hang out online!! So, first things first...
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
ROFL!!!!

Sheesh! Just a tad bit late eh?

Anyway, I kind of had to take a bit of time off over Christmas from my scrapping due to the chaos of life... and had a tough time getting BACK into the flow of it! However, the past few pages I've done have made me happy... so that feels good!! :) Shared one for the blog hop last week... and have another one to share soon too! but not yet...

The 14th of Jan was my day to post to the myStampBOX blog... I did a tutorial... I LOVE how this project turned out!! Here's a peek... check out the blog for the details and the rest of the page!
I have also joined the LCOM contest called SO YOU THINK YOU CAN SCRAP!!!! I am SO excited to do this!! The first challenge is pretty simple... no pun intended!! :) Creat a Clean and Simple LO using only cardstock for a backround... that's the only rules! FUN!!! Going to work on it tomorrow I hope!
Hmmm... What else is new? We have something FUN coming up for the Let's Capture our Sketches blog for Feb, but i can't spill the beans yet!! :)

And last but not least... wondering about my title for my blog post? Here it is...

My goal for 2010 is just DO IT!!!
*Do not put off until tomorrow what I can and should do today.
*If i don't have time to do it, out it n my to do list.
*Have a scrappy project to do? Do it!
*Dishes in the sink, DO THEM!
*Need to take a nap? DO IT!
*Clothes need washing? Do it!!
*Stop putting things off!! They will not get done on their own and you will feel SO much better at what you have accomlished in the day if you can say HERE IS WHAT I DID!!!
*Rest when you need to... and DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE!! Putting things off does not help... they still have to be done eventually! So just DO IT NOW!! :)

And I must say... it has made for a great start to 2010!!!

And tonight I said, i really need to update my blog,... so guess what? I DID IT!! WHOOT!!

Next post will be my top 9 projects of 2009!! Been wanting to do that, so I'm going to DO IT!! :)

Until next time... Happy Scrapping!!

Here is my take on my sketch, using the Creative Expressions from our FAB Jan sponsor!! I rubbed the rubons onto the paper, cut them using a circle punch and applied lots of stickles for the glitter!!

Hope you are inspired to get creating, maybe get a few of those festive holiday photographs scrapped, or create a page summarising your 2009. Don’t forget you can rotate the sketch, substitute the 4 photographs for 2 (or however many you like!), just use the sketch to inspire you and most of all, have fun!!
You have until 7Pm EST on Sunday, Jan 10th to play along!! Good luck!!
Thanks for playing along and happy 2010 to you all!
