Here's my story!! :)

I was home with the kids after they were in bed... and this unknown # shows up on my phone... Honestly I thought it was my nephew from out West calling to tell DH about his recent engagement, So, I didn't answer. i was waiting for DH to get home so they could talk! And then the call came again... I ignored it. Then the third time, DH was home... i said GET THAT... IT'S FOR YOU!! "Yes she is... just one minute please..." It was for me? Then my mind started going... within 10 seconds I was off the couch and flipping out!! (That's quick for me at this point in pregnancy! LOL!) "You're joking me!!??" I stupidly said. "Yes, this is a joke... we like to call people and get their hopes up and then tell them we're joking!" she said!! ROFL!!!

I am SO honored and amazed to be among such a list of incredible talent!! Special WHOOT to Erika Taylor... my fellow Magistical Memories team member and fellow Canuck!! Congrats!!
Marci... THANK YOU for sharing about this call at myStampBOX!! Amy, Ellen, Jing Jing, and Lynda... also fellow DT members for MSB or MM... Congrats on the Guest DT spots! You will ROCK it!

Tracy said we could scream it from the rooftop today... but with my steep roof AND my baby belly... I'll have to settle for here.....

OK, now I promised a RAK....
I am 25 days from my due date... meaning I really have about 2 weeks or so... And I have NO baby names chosen! I need ideas! Here's what I'm looking for...
I would like BOYs names that starts with J..... Not your common everyday name, but nothing too wacko either....

Be Real

When Basic Grey came out with the Porcelain line, I just had to have it! And yet I have hoarded it and used it very little! This LO called for it... and I'm thrilled with how it worked on here! This photo was taken on DD's first day of grade 2 in Sept 09. I just love the sincerity on her face...

BE REAL

This page is inspired by the sketch of the week from Capture these Sketches by Guylaine. I LOVED this sketch! You have to check it out!! Remember to send in your version using it for your chance to win as well! See details on the sketch blog!! We used die cuts from our April Sponsor which was Kustom Die Kuts. That is where the heart came from! Thanks Ally!
In creating this page I made my own flowers using more papers from the porcelain line! They
are so easy to make, and yet SO adorable!! As a base under the flowers, I used this chipboard shape from Magistical Memories... I inked it using green ink and added stickles to it to give it some shine! Adding the handmade flowers and some Prima leaves finished it off perfectly!!
As a final touch to my page, i just couldn't resist adding something to the top left of the page! i decided on using a seal stamp from the SEAL IT stamp set from myStampBOX. I stamped the CUTIE/Sweat pea seal (using the same green ink as on the chipboard) onto white cardstock and cut out using a circle punch. I layered that over a scalloped circle. Added a few other goodies to finish it off and voila!! My page was complete!!

The Change

I have turned into an emotional wreck this past week!! Just look at me and i cry... No reason... all is well... just all teary eyed! Dh and I get laughing about it... I'll cry just out of the blue and then get to giggling at the same time! LOL! Gotta love that final stretch of being preggers! :)

That is what inspired this LO... my oldest DS is growing up into SUCH a fine little man... he has changed to much in the last year it just blows me away! He such a big help...so responsible and helpful..... sniff sniff... I'm just so proud of him!!

The Design of this page is taken from the April sketch from Magistical Memories... I turned it onto it's side and it took on a life of it's own! I was also inspired by the work of Karola... this girl is my scrappy idol... every piece she creates is an amazing work of art!!! incredible! I just love her use of liquid pearls!! :)
I used the chipboard corner bare naked as an embellishment over my title... I could use this particular piece a million times and never grow bored of it!! It's one of my favorite Magistical Memories pieces!!

THE CHANGE

The chipboard frame under my photo was just a plain piece of chipboard. I ran it thru my cuttlebug using the distressed lines cartridge. Then I ran some brown ink along it. After mounting my photo on it, I tore it to make a "somewhat" circle... then inked the edges in black to give it a real aged look... LOVE the result with this page!!

This page is of my sister and her fiancee at the time... they are now married and expecting a babyin October!! Congrats sis!!!
I had fun distressing and folding and tearing this paper... so elegant and yet so fun to distress!!

True Beauty

No, I'm not struck on myself nor do I think I'm a striking beauty... LOL! This page is more about the beauty on the inside that we all need to be reminded to strive for... I had a lot of fun with the design on this one!
Baby update: Today brings me to 5 weeks left of being preggers..... AGH! I'm the size of a house now, and if I don't stop growing I'm going to need a tractor trailer to take me to the hospital when the time comes! :) I feel SO HUGE!!! Feeling fine though... very tired... aching back... you know the way it goes! :) Looking forward to being not pregnant.... not ever again! 5 times is enough for me thanks! LOL!

This LO is of my neice and my littlest man... he was about 9 months here. My neice adores the babies, and I just love this photo pf the two of them... so natural and real...

This LO is based on a sketch by Calia Yang, for Let's Capture These Sketches Sketch # 31. Our sponsor for the month of April is Kustom Die Kuts by Allison Cope! The white flower border came from her! So easy to use and so beautiful!!
I also used a butterfly stamp from myStampBOX... I just received this set and am in LOVE!! It's butterflies... what else can I say!?!? I added some stickles and liquid pearls! :) Yummy!!
And finally, I had to use a piece of chipboard! No LO feels complete without it lately! So I used one of the hearts from the nesting hearts set from Magistical Memories. I sprayed it with glimmer mist and added some liquid pearls for dimention! :)

Anticipation

I used a large circle from the Butterfly album on this page. I sprayed it with glimmer mist and put it thru my cuttlebug using the swiss dot embossing plate! And I dove headfirst into my new Prima stash... oh MY!!! :)
This page is about DD's first day of school for grade 2 and the anticipation she felt as we waited for the bus... I love this pic of her! :)
